本教育計劃旨在促進人們了解大嶼山在明清時期的歷史角色。本計劃將連接大嶼山的海防設施，通過各種教育材料和活動，包括桌遊、動畫短片、實地考察、攝影比賽、工作坊等，參與者將了解大嶼山海岸防禦設施的特點和重要性、整體海岸防禦系統，以及大嶼山在香港和華南地區軍事防禦系統中的角色和功能。

透過各類型的教材和活動，本計劃期望提升中小學生、大專學生，以及公眾歷史和文化保護意識，也令相關理念和價值得以進一步傳播。

This educational program aims to promote understanding of Lantau Island’s historical role during the Ming and Qing dynasties. This program will connect Lantau’s coastal defense facilities. Through various educational materials and activities, including board games, animated short films, field trips, photography competitions, workshops, etc., participants will understand the characteristics and importance of Lantau’s coastal defense facilities, the overall coastal defense system, and the role and function of Lantau in the military defense system of Hong Kong and South China.

Through various types of teaching materials and activities, this project hopes to enhance the awareness of historical and cultural protection among primary and secondary school students, college students, and the public, and to further spread related concepts and values.
